Chicken and Waffles
Celebrate National Waffle Week with these boozy Chicken and Waffle shots!
Ingredients
How it’s made…
Here is what we did
Bloom gelatin and stir
Heat 1 cup heavy whipping cream over medium heat
Add 2 tbsp maple syrup and 3 drops of pancake flavoring, stirring thoroughly
Add 1-2 drops of brown food coloring, stir
Take off the heat and add 1/2 cup of Old Forester 1897 Bottled in Bond and stir
Spray non stick on the mold and blot off excess non stick spray
Pour mixture into mold, removing any air bubbles by poking with a toothpick
Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours
Carefully remove from mold
Top with your choice of popcorn chicken and maple syrup and enjoy!

Black Manhattan
0.5 oz. Averna Amaro
0.5 oz. Nux Alpine Walnut Liqueur
Cedar-smoked cinnamon and walnut round out Old Forester’s version of a modern brown and stirred classic manhattan.
Stir ingredients with ice. Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with lemon peel.
